But when the water washed out the whole area, the Carbon County Fairgrounds Red Lodge set up a shelter for the evacuated residents.

On Monday afternoon, Livingston City Fire Department advised the natives of the eastern part of the town, who live near the Yellowstone River, to make proper preparations for the evacuation because there was a very high chance of flooding in that area like the Downtown Red Lodge Flooding.
According to the National Weather Service, at the Clarks Fork, the Yellowstone River, the east part of Red Lodge, near Belfry, and the southern part of Laurel experienced exceptional flooding.

Some portions of the Missouri Headwaters State Park are closed now. All the fishing sites are also closed in the Yellowstone River.
