On Tuesday, 30th August, Polaris announced that the customers of certain snowmobiles are to bring them back to the authorised dealers for fixing. A problem of fire hazards has arisen in the vehicle due to the use of degraded oils in the tank and the recent extension in the capacity of storage. 

The order of stop ride/ stop sale is issued, affecting 230000 snowmobiles Worldwide. The company is currently cooperating with CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission), and they are very likely to Recall the products after a brief analysis.

And Premium models:

And Black diamond equipment recalls: 

  • Black diamond Avalanche Transceivers and Pieps, 
  • Patriot Boost Pro RMK, 
  • Patriot Boost RMK KHAOS 

And the recent recalling of Select model Year 2013-14, the Model Year 2021-23 MATRYX, 2015-22 AXYS etc., were the recalls of Polaris this year about which discussions are going on. 

Details about the Polaris Recall Snowmobile case:

Polaris has stated that this stop sale notice has nothing to do with fire recalls between 2015 and 2018. The CPSC has maintained silence on this matter. Generally, three or four weeks are required between the issues of stop sale notice and recall notice by CPSC. This issue is related to fuel leakages.

According to the spokesperson of Polaris, they are trying to solve the problem as much as possible. Still, the customer’s safety is the top priority. So, people have to bear a minor inconvenience concerning the Polaris Recall Snowmobile

The Organization has received a total of 24 cases of primary damage. The company has taken immediate action to stop heavy damage.
